I am very pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Roy Lounbury. Several months ago my husband and I began the very daunting task of trying to understand our needs with respect to life insurance and whether our family was sufficiently covered in the event of an unexpected catastrophe. We soon realized that we would require assistance as the number of options available and the complicated product offering made it difficult to determine an appropriate choice for us.

I am a Chartered Accountant and my husband a successful entrepreneur and we have three children. Like many young parents we wanted to ensure that our children would be well provided for in the event of our untimely demise and to ensure that they would not have to worry about fin' ancial matters should anything happen to us. Roy was instrumental in helping us assess or true needs and then assisting us to obtain the coverage that met those needs as well as coverage that was affordable. He patiently walked us through all the available products (and there are many) and answered all of our questions, until we finally felt that we had decided on the best options for our family.

Through the course of this exercise he introduced us to Critical Illness insurance, which we knew about, and had liked the concept, but quite frankly thought it would not be a cost effective options for us- but he quickly showed us that it was. He helped us navigate this process until we were able to choose a product that provided me, my husband and our youngest son with critical illness insurance that would provide us with additional money that we would never have been able to have otherwise should any number of critical illness befall us. To know that we will have money should either of us get sick to provide care that we would have otherwise been unable to afford has allowed us to sleep a little easier each night.

Since our first meeting, Roy has been patient with us, never pressuring us and has provided a high quality service that has allowed my husband and me as parents to obtain insurance coverage that allows us to go to bed each night knowing that our children will be secure. I would recommend to anyone, regardless of the situation, to meet with him for a cup a coffee to discuss options- you will not be disappointed.
